What we collect, and what we don’t.

01The short version

We collect what you type into a contact form, and nothing else. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no third-party scripts and hosts its own fonts — so no advertising network, analytics company or font provider learns that you visited.

If you never contact us, we hold no personal information about you beyond the short-lived server logs any website produces.

Axioom is a technology studio in the United States. This policy covers axioom.io and any enquiry you send through it. For anything on this page, write to hello@axioom.io.

02What we collect

What you send us. The form on /contacts asks for your name and email, and optionally your company, a budget figure, which services you are interested in, a description of your project, and any files you attach. The shorter form in the site footer asks for your name, email, company and message. Name and email are the only required fields.

Attachments. Files you attach travel with the email, limited to 25 MB across at most ten files. Please do not send anything sensitive — health records, financial account numbers, Social Security numbers — as we have no use for it and no reason to hold it.

Technical data. Like every web server, ours records the IP address, browser user-agent, page requested and time of each request. We do not combine this with anything else, and we do not use it to build a profile of you.

03How we use it

To read your message and reply to it. To carry on the conversation if it turns into a project. To keep the site running, diagnose faults and identify abuse.

That is the complete list. We do not sell or share your personal information, we do not use it for advertising, we will not add you to a mailing list because you sent an enquiry, and no automated system makes decisions about you.

04Who else sees it

Two service providers handle your enquiry on our behalf:

• Resend delivers the email carrying your enquiry. It processes the message content and attachments and keeps delivery logs. Resend stores data in the United States.
• Vercel serves this site and produces the server logs described above. Vercel is a United States company and delivers the site from its global edge network.

Your message then sits in our own email inbox until we delete it.

Beyond that we disclose personal information only if the law requires it or to protect our rights. The social and project links on this site are ordinary outbound links, not embeds — those sites learn nothing about you unless you click through, at which point their own policies apply.

05Do Not Track

California law requires us to tell you how this site responds to a Do Not Track browser signal. We do not track you across other websites or over time, and we allow no one else to do so here, so a Do Not Track signal has nothing to switch off. We therefore take no action on it.

No third party collects personally identifiable information about your activity across other sites through this one.

06How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become work: deleted within 24 months of our last exchange.
• Enquiries that become a project: kept for the life of the engagement, then as long as we need them for tax and contractual records.
• Server logs: kept only for our hosting provider’s standard retention period, and not archived by us.

Ask us to delete your enquiry sooner and we will.

07Your choices

Email hello@axioom.io and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. There is no form and no charge, and we aim to answer within 30 days.

To be straight with you about the law: the California Consumer Privacy Act and the comparable acts in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas and other states apply to businesses above certain thresholds — broadly, more than $26.6 million in annual revenue, or handling the personal information of 100,000 or more consumers a year, or making half their money selling it. We are under all of them, so those statutes do not currently bind us. We offer the access, correction and deletion rights above as a matter of practice regardless, and if we ever cross a threshold we will update this page before we do.

We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing for you to opt out of.

08Cookies and browser storage

This site sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no tag manager and no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to.

One item is written to your browser’s sessionStorage — a flag named axioom:enter, set for a fraction of a second so the page you are moving to knows to play its opening animation. It holds no information about you, never leaves your browser, and your browser discards it when you close the tab.

09Security

The site is served over HTTPS and enquiries are encrypted in transit. No transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, so please use your judgement about what you put in a message to a studio you have not yet worked with.

10Children

This is a business site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.

11If you are outside the United States

We operate in the United States and your enquiry is processed and stored here, under US law, which may offer different protections than the law where you live. Send us an enquiry and you are asking us to handle it on that basis. Write to us if you would prefer we delete it.

12Changes to this policy

If we add anything that changes what we collect — analytics, a booking tool, a newsletter — we will update this page and change the date at the top before it goes live, not after.
